Paint Couture Sure Prep Blocking Primer is a durable blocking primer available in gray or white. Sure Prep Blocking Primer is formulated to protect lighter colored paints from wood tannins and bleed through. Once dry, it creates an extremely hard film. There are many other products which may be used over Paint Couture Sure Prep Blocking Primer and we strongly suggest you do a test sample prior to starting your actual work.
Application: Stir thoroughly before use. DO NOT SHAKE. Be sure project items have been properly cleaned. Preparation is the key to successful adhesion. Apply Sure Prep Bonding Primer with a good quality synthetic brush, a foam brush, or use a sprayer. Allow two (2) hours to dry. If adding a second coat of Paint Couture Sure Prep Blocking Primer lightly sand with 400 grit sandpaper and apply the second coat.
