Joanna from Winds of Whimsy will be leading this workshop - full of flowers, fantasy, and fine detail! In this immersive creative experience, participants will learn how to turn a simple shoe or boot into a stunning decor piece using decoupage, paint layering, embellishments, and faux florals.
Whether you're drawn to the woodland, vintage, romantic, or fairy-tale aesthetic, this workshop will guide you through the steps to personalize your shoe with rich textures and artistic detail that make it your own. We'll teach you how to prep your surface, apply decoupage techniques, and finish your creation with floral elements and whimsical touches.
What You'll Learn:
- Decoupage techniques using a variety of designs
- Faux floristry basics and composition
- How to adhere embellishments securely
- Tips on color blending and sealing
What's Included:
- Choose from a variety of decoupage papers
- Faux greenery, florals, moss, and embellishments
- The use of our paints, brushes, glue, and sealing products
- Boot or Shoe - We will have an assortment of boots and shoes available to choose from. (You may bring your own if you prefer)
